Job description

Overview

Our Travel and Tourism section at Uxbridge Campus offers a range of travel-related courses to our learners, with a focus on the airline/aviation and hospitality industries. Working with local employers at and around Heathrow airport, we successfully prepare learners for careers in the sector and/or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Teach on a range of Travel and Tourism courses to students, predominantly 16-19 year olds, from Level 1 to Level 5.
• Engage and motivate young vocational learners aged 16-19 using effective teaching methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area (a degree is highly desirable).
• Experience of working in the travel industry, together with some teaching or training experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Will support you to develop your career in teaching, including fully funding the Level 5 teaching qualification undertaken at the College.
