This role involves utilizing specialist clinical knowledge to inform decision-making and clinical judgment from initial assessment through to discharge. The post holder will provide specialist advice to the multidisciplinary team regarding patient condition management through assessment, treatment, and review planning in partnership with patients and carers.
The role includes supporting the development of the service, improving practice, and working collaboratively across healthcare boundaries by implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies. Additionally, the post involves providing teaching and supervision to junior staff and students.
