Responsibilities

  • Follow up with incoming leads as well as answer inquiries generated by Client Relationship Manager's activities, marketing, or other campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Client Relationship Manager to develop and execute an appropriate business plan to maximize European Sales.
  • Work closely with senior team members to develop and maintain relationships with existing feeders and prospects.
  • Accompany Carlyle management or Client Relationship Managers to in-person client meetings with private banks and wealth managers.
  • Proactively service investors to provide resolutions to their inquiries.
  • Develop relationships internally across various Carlyle investment teams as well as other functions such as investor services, legal, compliance, and operations.
  • Coordinate and prepare marketing materials, including presentations, client reports, and requests for proposals.
  • Organize client events and conferences, including contributing to setting the agenda of topics.
  • Conduct competitor and market research and analyses.
  • Develop and maintain target client lists.
  • Manage CRM activities and related data requests, keeping current on Carlyle's fund offerings.
  • Assist with administrative duties when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in Investor Relations, Financial Services, or related field.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems (Salesforce, DealCloud).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one European language (French, Spanish, or German).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Organized, practical, and able to translate high-level directions into tasks.
  • Client-savvy with an understanding of sales and LP lifecycle nuances.
  • Proactive and independent in gathering necessary information for meetings.
  • Support-oriented, resourceful, and collaborative.
  • Detail-oriented and responsible.

Languages

  • English and one of the following: French, Spanish, or German.
