2 x Level 2 Nursery Practitioner (to start September 2025)

Fixed Term in the first instance
NJC SCP 2 – 6
Salary - £13,482 – £21,528 depending on experience and role
Working pattern: 7:30am – 6:00pm depending on role

  1. 1 x 50 weeks per year, 37.5 hours per week
  2. 1 x Term Time only, 25 hours per week

We are excited to announce the opening of our new nursery provision and are looking for passionate, highly motivated, and skilled nursery practitioners to join our team. Our nursery caters to children aged 2 to 4 years old, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Can communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
  • Is patient, calm and has a good sense of humour.
  • Demonstrates high expectations of positive behaviour for learning.
  • Provides daily care, including feeding, nappy changing, and assisting with personal hygiene.
  • Has experience of working with Early Years aged children.
  • Assists in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
  • Creates a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Can work under the guidance of the Nursery Manager and EYFS lead but can use their own initiative to ensure that children have access to appropriate activities to support their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
  • Has a commitment to supporting all children to reach their potential.
  • Will be committed to the role, our values and our team.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with pupils, parents and other members of staff to ensure the children are receiving the best possible support.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security, and confidentiality.
