Position Overview
As a Leveraged Finance Associate, you will play a key role in advising banks, financial institutions, debt funds, alternative lenders, and private equity sponsors on complex, cross-border financing structures. You will be responsible for documenting and negotiating a range of leveraged finance debt facilities, working closely with senior lawyers and partners to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Advise on a variety of leveraged finance transactions, focusing on representing lenders and sponsors.
- Document and negotiate a range of leveraged finance debt facilities.
- Manage and coordinate the legal aspects of transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, corporate, and real estate departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
Requirements
- England & Wales qualified lawyer with 2-6 years of post-qualification experience in leveraged finance work at a top-tier law firm.
- Strong academic background.
- Proven track record in advising on complex, cross-border financing structures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
