Position Overview

As a Competition Associate, you will play a key role in handling UK/EU and other non-U.S. antitrust, cartel and merger control matters. You will have the opportunity to conduct your own advocacy where possible and gain valuable exposure to high-profile, cross-border work as part of a team operating across five European offices.

Responsibilities

  • Handle complex UK/EU antitrust and competition cases
  • Demonstrate initiative and take on a high degree of responsibility in case management
  • Produce excellent written communication and drafting for various legal documents and submissions
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions to deliver seamless client service
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the Competition practice through thought leadership and client engagement

Requirements

  • 2-5 PQE in a strong UK or European Competition practice
  • Qualified to practice law in England & Wales
  • Excellent academic record with at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
