Job summary

Harvey John is assisting a Newhaven, East Sussex business in recruiting a Contract Management Accountant for an initial two to three month assignment, with the potential to extend. The role reports to the Head of Finance and supports the business during a new system implementation.

The candidate will help with month-end, journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, or take on more of the reporting workload if that is stronger.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills essential.
• Experience with month-end and reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support the Head of Finance during system implementation, with involvement in process mapping, testing and data migration.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to the wider business.
