I'm working on behalf of a brilliant special school in the Devizes area that is looking for a 1-1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join from January. The school supports a range of special needs and disabilities, but this role specifically involves working with one student in year 7.

The school is well established in the area, and from candidates we've placed over the years, you will be well supported by SLT and other TAs.

The role

This position involves working 1-1 with a girl in year 7 who has complex learning difficulties. She is a lovely girl with a happy personality but can sometimes exhibit challenging behaviour. You will be expected to support her throughout the day, both inside and outside the classroom.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the student's life. Experience with SLD is preferred.
