Responsibilities
  • Follow all SAFETY procedures and all GMPs
  • Set up presses to attain standard speeds with minimal scrap rate.
  • Set up print jobs and maintain quality of print throughout the run, performing wash-ups of plates and blankets, adjusting print pressures, and registration as needed.
  • Verify production paperwork for accuracy before, during, and after the run.
  • Record production, scrap, and downtime on travelers.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machines to maintain efficient production and report any problems to the Printing Supervisor or Maintenance.
  • Clear unload and in-feed jams and return to production.
  • Perform P.M. on machine according to P.M. form.
  • Maintain work areas for cleanliness and return all tools, rags, etc., to proper locations.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications

2 to 5 years of hands-on experience.

High School graduate or GED.

Strong commitment to safety.

Mechanically inclined.

Must have excellent attendance.

Must PASS color blindness test.

Work well with others.

Leadership qualities.
