Job description

Job Title: 1st Shift Machine Operator NC - Liverpool, NY

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator ensures equipment and die cutting presses are set up and conform with company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.

Hours:
  • Monday – Friday
  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily (30-minute lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM and two paid 15-minute breaks at 10:15 AM & 2:30 PM)
Pay:
  • $16.00 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Set up and operate equipment according to instructions, specifications, and standard work instructions.
  • Read job cards and specifications to follow proper setup procedures.
  • Adjust controls to run equipment efficiently.
  • Maintain focus and attention to detail to identify and resolve material imperfections.
  • Meet or exceed production quotas to adhere to scheduling and delivery deadlines.
  • Read, understand, and interpret blueprints.
  • Use tape measures and mathematical skills to ensure accurate material sizing.
  • Understand and convert between standard and metric measurements, including decimals and fractions.
  • Perform additional duties such as material setup, gluing, handling, and packing as assigned.
