Role: 1st Line IT Support Technician

Sector: MSP IT Support Company

Location: Findon / Worthing

This is an opportunity to join a well-established IT Support Company, based in Worthing, West Sussex, providing support to a variety of customers across the South East. They are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the busy IT team.

Working from their office in Worthing, you will be supporting their customers via telephone, email, and remote support tools. As part of the desktop support role, you will get the chance to work hands-on with server and desktop products, networking components such as routers, printers, and bespoke applications.

Full training will be provided, and you will be joining an experienced team. There are progression opportunities within the company for the right candidate.

Essential skills for 1st Line IT Support:
  • Ideally, a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar IT Support role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office365 is advantageous
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of printers
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to diagnose faults and find solutions
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Able to follow procedures and documentation
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols and devices (particularly Draytek / Netgear)

A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar environment, either with an IT Support company or within an in-house support department, is required.

Package:

Salary range of £21,000 – £25,000 depending on experience
