We are seeking a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our existing team in the Manchester Studio. Working with and being supported by a dedicated Central Services team, you will gain exposure to multiple technologies whilst working on our in-house ITSM platform.
Duties and responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for global BDP IT Support
Offer guidance from our knowledgebase and attempt first time fixes with staff
Contribute to our knowledgebase as solutions are discovered
Consistently hit initial response targets to queries raised via our support channels
Escalate tickets in a timely manner, ensuring SLA targets remain achievable
Accurately record all relevant information in our ticketing platform, allowing the wider team to handle escalated tickets efficiently
Keep staff updated on the progress of their tickets.

Skills and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP)
Experience with Freshservice ITSM platform.
Due to the nature of the project, the successful candidate would be required to undergo a security clearance process and therefore you will be required to have at least 3 years of UK residency within the last 5 years. We will also need to confirm your employment/educational history over the last 3 years to qualify.
