ITS Building People is seeking a 1st Fix Carpenter for a residential project in Brighton, East Sussex. Start immediately for a 1-week duration. You will need your own tools and transport; daily rate £200-£210.

Own transport is required. The role involves precise 1st fix carpentry, reading drawings, and delivering high-quality workmanship on site. Applicants should have previous carpentry experience and be able to work safely on site, with references available on request.

• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 1st fix carpentry including stud walls, joists, flooring, roof structures and door frames.
• Read and work accurately from technical drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut and install timber and sheet materials to a high standard.
• Work safely and efficiently on construction sites, following all health and safety requirements.
• Maintain good quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines and schedules.
