Job summary

Booker Group in Queensferry is seeking a delivery driver to join our local team. You will drive locally for 45 hours a week, load and unload goods, and provide friendly, reliable service to our regular customers.

You'll hold a CatC / 18T licence with at least two years of driving experience, and you'll perform manual deliveries while ensuring accurate paperwork. Overtime and weekend patterns may apply, with funded CPC training hours.

Qualifications

• Two years driving experience required
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch
• Unload at customer premises
• Complete paperwork accurately

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. Working 45 hours per week you will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an "Any 5 from 7" contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

Main Responsibilities

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
