Overview

A temporary opportunity has become available for an Administration Assistant, working with a well-established and highly reputable Earthmoving business located at Ipswich. With over 32 years’ experience in their field, this is a business that has continued to grow whilst remaining committed to exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service & Communication – Act as the first point of contact, handling incoming calls and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative & Office Support – Assist with the shared admin inbox, process deliveries, check materials, and handle general office duties.
  • Administer site access permits – Assist with vehicle compliance & COI scheduling; update internal compliance boards as required.
  • Supporting Accounts Team – Provide support with accounts payable functions.
Candidate profile / Qualifications
  • Previous aligned administration experience.
  • Well-developed written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Office administration experience within construction, civil, or earthmoving industries preferred (but not essential).
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (in particular, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook), with the ability to learn and use different technology.
  • Fast and accurate keyboarding skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload to meet competing timelines.
  • Availability to be rostered between 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week.

On-site car parking available. We anticipate that this temporary assignment will be required for approximately six months.
