Role Overview

• Job Title: 16-Seater Minibus Driver
• Contract: Temp-to-Perm, full-time (40 hours/week)
• Start Date: 2nd June 2025
• Hours: Five days per week, Monday–Sunday rota (scheduled in line with tachograph-recorded drivers’ hours limits)
• Location: Various client sites across the South East departing from our depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 16‑seat minibus on scheduled routes.
• Assist passengers loading and unloading, ensuring seat belts are worn.
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle checks; maintain cleanliness standards.
• Accurately record driving time, breaks and rest periods using the onboard tachograph.
• Report any defects, delays or incidents promptly to the transport manager.

Person Specification

• Valid D1 (minibus) driving licence with current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.
• Flexible availability across a seven-day rota and willingness to adapt to changing shifts.
• Good knowledge of local roads and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo DBS and medical checks.
• PAYE: £13.00–£16.81 per hour, depending on experience and hours worked.
• Umbrella: £18.50–£20.50 per hour, depending on experience and hours worked.
• Paid statutory holiday and pension contributions.
• Full uniform provided and comprehensive training on vehicle and tachograph use.
• Opportunity for overtime and additional shifts at enhanced rates.
