Job summary

USG / Student Counselling Service
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Open-ended: permanent

Overview

The Counselling Service is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to provide excellent administrative support to the Student Counselling Service.

Responsibilities
  • Allocate and manage clinical appointments.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all queries and respond to enquiries from students seeking counselling in a timely and sensitive manner.
  • Rotate daily tasks across all team activities to support a busy team of counsellors and psychotherapists.
  • Work full-time (35 hours per week) at least 3 days on campus, 5 days per week.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong IT skills and fully proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience working in a similar office environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, positive, tactful and non-judgemental.
  • Resourceful and able to use initiative.
  • Able to work to a high standard whilst under pressure.
