Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for a Full High Speed Crew of Traffic Management Operatives across the UK. The role involves setting up and operating traffic management schemes, delivering briefings, and ensuring compliance with NHSS and health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will hold Lantra TM qualifications, pass drugs/alcohol checks, have the right to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence with ≤6 points.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications required.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in the UK is mandatory.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and remove Traffic Management sites in line with NHSS.
• Deliver site daily briefings to crew and stakeholders.
• Review RAMS and method statements; ensure safety and compliance.
• Read CAD Traffic Management drawings and interpret CHAPTER 8 requirements.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Work with crew to meet targets and quality standards.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Full High Speed Crew of Traffic Management Operatives with existing Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients who is seeking specific Traffic Management crews that work well together. This is a rare opportunity to work within your existing crew without being interchanged.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• 12AB IPV FOREMAN/LTMO
• 12AB OPERATIVE
• TTMBC/ 12AB 1DAY
• 12AB IPV OPERATIVE
• 12AB FOREMAN/LTMO
• TTMBC/ 12AB 1DAY

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.
• Deliver site daily briefings.
• Have a competent understating and implementation of ‘Raising The Bar’ document.
• Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site or Operation Managers.
• Work alongside your crew to ensure your teammates meet and maintain high quality work plans.
• Read, review and interpret CAD Traffic Management drawings.
• Ensure Traffic Management and operations is in accordance with Chapter 8.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.
• Complete Risk Assessments.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
