Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives across the UK. The role involves setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow and ensuring road users’ safety in line with CAD drawings and RAMS.

Opportunities exist for operatives and drivers with traffic management experience. Applicants should have Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications, be able to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks, have the right to work in the UK and hold a full UK

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at required roads.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights and ensure public compliance.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within set time scales.
• Set up traffic lights and assist with traffic diversions.
• Ensure safe working practices and health and safety compliance.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
