Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the Canterbury area to join a leading UK traffic management client. You will be involved in setting up, maintaining and removing traffic management sites in NHSS compliance, while delivering clear daily briefings and reading CAD drawings.

Applicants should have Lantra approved qualifications, be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test, have the right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence (max 6

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications are required.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and remove Traffic Management sites in NHSS compliance.
• Deliver site daily briefings.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensure safe and effective operations and high-quality work plans.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete risk assessments and follow RAMS.
• Maintain Health & Safety at Work Act compliance.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking Operatives with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• 12AB Traffic Management Foreman

Duties may include:

Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.

Deliver site daily briefings.

Have a competent understating and implementation of ‘Raising The Bar’ document.

Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site TSCO or Operation Managers.

Work alongside your crew to ensure your teammates meet and maintain high quality work plans.

Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.

To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.

Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.

Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.

Complete Risk Assessments.

Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
