A leading research university in Edinburgh seeks a PhD candidate specializing in materials science or related fields. The role focuses on utilizing 3D printing technology for drug formulations and conducting research in drug delivery systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with bioimaging techniques and physiological sample analysis. This position offers a full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years.
Grade UE07: £41,064 - £48,882 per annum
CSE / School of Engineering
Full-time: 35 hours per week

We are looking for a PhD candidate in materials science, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy, with expertise in 3D printing technology and drug formulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 3D printing, drug delivery systems, and cell culture, along with a strong research background in applying materials science, chemical engineering, or biomedical engineering to drug delivery and tissue sample collection.
