Grade UE05: £29,179 - £33,482 per annum

We are recruiting a full-time administrative role to support the School Chief Operating Officer and Senior Research Strategy & Operations Manager.
The Opportunity:
The post-holder will be expected to multi-task their duties in an organised coordinated approach, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in record keeping.
This role will provide secretariat support for various committees, as such a proven ability to take minutes and monitor follow up on actions is required.
The role will require the management of diaries, along with the ability to provide support to seminars, meetings and key events. Duties include proof reading, drafting and editing communication, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required. The post-holder will assist in a variety of tasks of variable scale and nature that may require the collation of data or performing of basic analysis to present information in an appropriate manner. The post-holder will be expected to be resourceful and work closely with the operational team to understand how to improve processes within the administrative team.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Extensive administrative experience including diary and e-mail management.
Experience of working within higher education or a research environment would be advantageous.
High level of competency in IT literacy and comfortable with scientific or veterinary terminology.
Be able to deliver to deadlines and you must be able to manage conflicting priorities.
