Job description

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Research Technician grade UE05 to join the EXPPECT Team, a multidisciplinary team advancing research into patient-centered management of pelvic pain. The position is based within the Centre for Reproductive Health located within the Institute for Regeneration and Repair at the Edinburgh BioQuarter working closely with the clinical team within the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The individual will work as a member of the team with responsibility for recovery and evaluation of clinical samples. They will provide technical support to the Team’s Post Doc using a variety of laboratory techniques They will provide technical support to students, scientists and clinicians and will ensure research areas and resources are well managed.



This post is full-time (35 hours per week), due to the unpredictable nature of the sample collection flexibility in the working day will be required.



The salary for this post is at Grade UE05: £29,179 to £33,482 per annum.
