CMVM/Institute of Neuroscience and Cardiovascular Research

Full-time: 35 hours per week

By collaborating across disciplines and institutions, we will deliver bold discoveries and foster the next generation of research leaders. We now have a suite of new opportunities in our Centre, and are seeking people with the ideas and ambition to drive forward our work.

We seek a Research Technician to work directly with REA4 and BVS staff to optimise state-of-the-art hardware/software, mentor new users, and provide expert in vivo assistance in delivering an advanced programme of research funded by the British Heart Foundation.

The salary for this post is £29,179 - £33,482 per annum.

Your skills and attributes for success:

In vivo mouse research experience, including colony handling and in vivo regulated procedures.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic and interested in cardiometabolic research.
