Supported by signposted training, the programme is based on Arcadis core values, giving you both technical training and support to help you develop both personally and professionally whilst with us. You will be exposed to real projects and clients and given a range of experiences to immerse yourself into over the course of your 10-12-week internship or 12-month placement.

Arcadis is a global multi-disciplinary design firm with a growing team in the UK, including a RIBA chartered Architectural practice. We are seeking a Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our team, currently spread across offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds.

We have a diverse range of work including commercial, residential, and industrial projects in the UK and abroad. During your year in practice at Arcadis, you will assist with various project activities including feasibility studies, concept and detailed designs for projects of varying sizes and complexities, and detailed planning applications across different sectors.

Applicants must demonstrate enthusiasm to learn, with excellent design and graphic communication skills. An interest in placemaking and architecture is important. Knowledge of design software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly advantageous.

We will provide an employment mentor and a Professional Studies Advisor to help record your practical experience using the RIBA's PEDR website during your Part 1 year out.

Application requirements:

• Architectural degree equivalent to RIBA Part 1
• Strong design and presentation skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and planning system (desirable)
• Experience with Revit/BIM (desirable)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
• 3D visualization skills using Enscape, Vray, or SketchUp
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
