The Baker Hughes internship program is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or recent graduates, to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional careers. Our internships provide first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.

You’ll participate in focused training and team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager, who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect coaching and mentoring to help you complete assignments and develop your skills.

As an intern, you will be responsible for:
  • Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
  • Learning internal software to assist with projects and tasks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact with global business leaders
  • Applying HSE standards and procedures to ensure compliance

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, STEM-related, or business-related fields
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher (or equivalent)
  • Be fluent in English, with effective communication skills
  • Have the legal right to work in the country you're applying in, without sponsorship or time restrictions
