The Baker Hughes internship program is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or recent graduates, to gain hands-on work experience that forms the foundation of their professional careers. Our internships provide first-hand insights into processes, systems, and practices aligned to meet customer needs through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.

You will participate in focused training, team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager to ensure a valuable learning experience. Coaching and mentoring will be provided to help you complete assignments and develop your skills.

You will also have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with Baker Hughes' Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and culture, as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

As an intern, you will be responsible for:
  • Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
  • Learning internal software to assist with projects and tasks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
  • Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and procedures to ensure compliance
Fuel your passion

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, other STEM or business-related fields
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher (or equivalent in your country)
  • Be fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills
  • Be legally eligible to work in the country of application without sponsorship or time restrictions
