Job summary
Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains invites placement students to a 12-month Programme Management Placement Scheme across planning, specification control and testing areas. You’ll work with our PLC software, SAP, TeamCentre and Microsoft tools, gaining responsibility from day one while contributing to real programme delivery.

Qualifications
- On track to achieve a 2.1 degree or above in a relevant Engineering, Science, Technology or Business subject.
- Strong academic background in A Level maths, sciences or business studies.
Responsibilities
- Full PU BoM ownership and maintenance.
- Demand creation and management across multiple projects.
- Bespoke planning strategies for long lead-time components.
- Monitor material budget adherence and change vs. budget.
- Processing of Engineering Change Notifications.
- Chair weekly spec meetings and ensure on-time release.
- Engineering prove out test hardware tracking and specification clarity.
- Build requests amendments and cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Programme Management, supply chain and build.
