Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB is offering a 12-month Internship in Corporate Coverage, based in London. You will assist Coverage Officers with financial analysis, sector research and KYC tasks, helping prepare pitches and client materials.

You’ll gain exposure to risk assessment, internal credit processes, and interactions with CACIB's international network. A strong academic background and numerical curiosity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in science, technology, engineering, economics, banking or finance.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant fields.
• Strong numerical and financial statement review capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Coverage Officers with financial/credit analysis of clients and prospects.
• Prepare client pitch books and presentations.
• Conduct client and sector research to support engagements.
• Support KYC processes end-to-end for new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams across CACIB and global offices.
• Analyse revenues and profitability for portfolios and clients.
• Assist in strategic topics and management reporting.

Job summary

The role will be primarily responsible for assisting Coverage Officers in financial analysis, research on prospects, pitch preparation, detailed KYC work, ongoing business activity and internal client performance reviews. This role will also be partially responsible for assisting the Head of UK Coverage and Investment Banking (CIB).

Key Responsibilities;

Assist the Coverage team (part of Coverage and Investment Banking) in all aspects of client facing and internal work. This involves;

• End-to-end preparation of files for Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
• Client and sectorial research
• Financial/credit analysis of existing and prospective clients
• Preparation of pitch books and client presentations
• Assisting with client and bank marketing materials
• Analysing revenues, returns, other profitability parameters etc. of specific clients/portfolio
• Supporting internal credit process
• Organisation, attendance, and writing up meeting notes
• Follow clients’ strategy around energy transition
• Liaison with other departments of the bank including the international network of CACIB, product specialists, risks, back office, middle office, compliance, legal
• Monitoring of monthly results to identify and rectify errors or anomalies
• Any other business-related activity to be allocated across CIB
• Work with and assist the Head of UK Coverage and Investment Banking on strategic topics (Medium term strategy, profitability analyses, risk weighted assets optimization, budgeting, etc.)
  Provide an ad hoc support for strategic analysis, reporting to management and specific projects.
