Job Description:

My client, a leading Fortune 500 - Global FMCG company, is seeking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial) for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Kingston upon Hull.

Reporting to the General Counsel and collaborating with the Sales and Marketing teams, this role involves:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including supply and distribution agreements
• Providing legal advice on sales, marketing, and packaging matters
• Supporting the business on product claims and other legal areas such as competition, IT, and advertising on an ad hoc basis.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ PQE as a commercial lawyer, preferably with experience in a brand-rich FMCG environment, though this is not essential.
