Job summary

Pension Insurance Corporation seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Reporting & Financial Management team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in London. You will deliver statutory and regulatory reporting, maintain strong controls and support month-end and year-end processes.

You will own close processes, manage intercompany accounting and contribute to audits, with a focus on accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement within a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant status or nearing qualification with expected completion within 12 months.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and regulatory reporting.
• Experience coordinating external audits and working with service providers.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes with timetables.
• Manage accounting for the Service Company including intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare statutory accounts and disclosures under UK GAAP and IFRS.
