Job Overview

Our NHS 111 Call Handlers (Health Advisors) are individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups, united by a common purpose.

Role Description: You are the first point of contact for patients calling 111, providing urgent assistance or advice, with no two days being the same due to the variety of calls.

Main Duties

Handling calls via NHS Pathways, providing lifesaving advice, directing callers to appropriate services, and managing stressful situations with compassion.

This role involves working varied shifts including weekends, with flexible scheduling to promote work/life balance. A requirement is working 3 out of 4 weekends.
