Overview

11026 - We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12-month fixed term contract at our 500 branch at 13 Hope Terrace, Lostock Hall, PR5 5RU.

Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription items promptly and conscientiously to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
• Provide a high standard of customer service and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
• Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated time frame.
• Ensure prescription items are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures and attention to detail is maintained.
• Plan and print daily routes in branch before starting deliveries (basic computer skills required).
• Assist with PR exercises to increase business (as required).

Requirements

• You must use your own vehicle for this role and your personal insurance policy must allow for business use. Please contact your insurer for details prior to interview. Note: the business insurance refers to the vehicle only, not contents. The Company will make a financial contribution to the business aspect of your insurance upon receipt of a document demonstrating any increased premium.

• Capacity to provide a high standard of service to customers.
