Overview

We are looking to recruit a 4-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 528-branch located at 5 Bridge End, Chester-Le-Street, DH3 3RE. Training will be during the week and once completed it will be a Saturday shift as below. The proposed shift pattern is: Saturday 09:00-13:00.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items under the guidance and supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Assist with ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and shop.
• Work as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and a willingness to learn and progress.

Qualifications and requirements

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress (e.g., Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing).
