Scotiabank offers a 10-week Corporate Banking Summer Internship in London, designed for penultimate-year students eager to learn about financial markets and client relationships. You will rotate through industry sectors, gain hands-on experience, and work with Corporate Banking teams to deliver tailored solutions.

You will participate in formal training, weekly speaker series, networking events, and CSR activities. Eligible for the 2028 Rotational Graduate Programme upon completion.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year student with strong interest in Corporate Banking and finance.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to analyse term sheets, due diligence materials and market data.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Banking teams in analysis of term sheets and due diligence materials.
• Prepare credit presentations and recommendations for senior management and committees.
• Assist with documentation and transaction execution, including internal approvals and closing procedures.
• Assist with monitoring of assigned portfolio, including annual reviews and compliance processes.
• Conduct market, company and industry analyses using internal/external data sources.
• Research companies, assets and transactions to prepare meaningful analyses.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, product partners and risk teams on live client transactions and pitches.
• Develop understanding of Scotiabank’s products, risk appetite and culture.
• Deliver a final presentation to Corporate Banking leadership.
