Job summary

The TD Bank Group in London invites a 2027 Summer Internship in Corporate Banking. This 10-week program provides formal training in banking fundamentals, Excel and PowerPoint, and exposure to a range of teams across lending, debt markets and cash management.

You’ll collaborate with professionals, analyze market trends and contribute to strategic initiatives while developing client-facing and financial analysis skills in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with anticipated graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Interest in CFA, ACT or accounting designation is asset.
• Genuine interest in corporate finance and the sectors TD covers.
• Understanding of credit and wholesale banking products.
• Results driven, proven academic excellence and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and highly motivated.
• Strong planning, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business and financial analytical skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Strong work ethic and commitment to business goals and high professional standards.
• Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.
• Previous work experience in corporate finance or investment banking considered an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership (i.e., sports, clubs, extracurricular activities, and philanthropy, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with professionals across various sectors, gaining exposure to the strategies, products, and services that drive our business.
• Be exposed to client requests, analyse market trends, and contribute to key strategic initiatives that will help shape the future of TD's Corporate Banking division.
• Work at the intersection of several key functions, including relationship management, credit risk, and financial analysis.
