Job summary

Prospero Teaching seeks a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support pupils in Suffolk who are disengaged from mainstream education. You will work individually to rebuild confidence, tailor learning, and promote academic and personal growth.

Applicants should have QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience, plus UK classroom teaching or tutoring background, and a willingness to work with SEND pupils. Right to work in the UK and DBS checks apply.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a young person's life? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutors to support students in the Suffolk area who are currently disengaged from mainstream education for a variety of reasons.

This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils on an individual basis, helping to rebuild confidence, re-engage them with learning, and support their academic and personal development in a tailored, flexible way.

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Tutor:

• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Have an enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate registered on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
