We are looking for a Tutor to provide support to students in Ripon, Harrogate on a 1:1 basis.

The Tutor will support with mostly core subjects (Mathematics and English) along with mentoring.

The successful tutor must be able to create, plan, and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3, KS4, or KS5 pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

You will be a vital part of their development, so the ideal candidate will have a patient and empathetic attitude.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references covering 2 years

Qualifications needed:

• Relevant teaching or tutoring experience
• Hold educational qualifications such as QTS/PGCE, Undergraduate or Postgraduate degrees
• Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box
• Location – Ripon, Harrogate (North Yorkshire)
• Type of work – Contract, Face to Face
• Duration – ongoing
• Full-time/part-time – Flexible hours
• Minimum rate of pay – £25+ per hour *Negotiable*
