Job Title: 1:1 Intervention Tutor

Are you passionate about supporting students' educational journey? We are looking for experienced tutors to provide tailored, engaging lessons to secondary school pupils who need additional support to reintegrate into education.

Responsibilities:

• Create, plan, and deliver personalized lessons to bridge educational gaps.
• Support pupils who have been out of education, boosting their confidence and re-engaging them in learning.
• Monitor and track pupil progress in collaboration with Prospero Teaching.

Location & Contract Details:

• Location: Within the community or pupils’ homes in Peterborough
• Type of work: Contract, ongoing until the pupil reintegrates into a new school
• Work hours: Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week per student, flexible to family timings
• Pay rate: Minimum £25 per hour

Candidate Requirements:

• UK classroom teaching experience
• Creativity, patience, and innovative thinking
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

Eligibility:

• Legal right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Two professional child-related references
