Job summary

Prospero Teaching in the GU17 area is seeking flexible 1:1 tutors to support children and young people through personalised tuition.

Start in September with flexible hours and pay of £25-£30 per hour. Roles cover core subjects, specialist topics, and SEN support, offering opportunities across Local Authorities to help learners rebuild confidence and achieve meaningful educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, learning support or similar roles.
• Strong subject knowledge in your area of expertise.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable.
• Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flexible 1:1 tuition to learners.
• Adapt teaching to individual needs in the GU17 area.
• Support learners to rebuild confidence and engage with learning.
• Collaborate with Local Authorities and schools as required.
