Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate 1:1 Tutor to work with students from KS1 to KS4 across core and wider subjects. You will provide engaging, tailored sessions to build confidence and close knowledge gaps, with a strong SEN understanding.

Role requires QTS or equivalent and up-to-date safeguarding training. DBS and references are part of eligibility. Flexible hours: 1–3 hours per session, part-time or full-time depending on availability.

• SEN background and understanding of diverse needs.
• Creativity, patience and willingness to think outside the box.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners in 1:1 sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring across KS1–KS4 focusing on core and wider national curriculum.
• Support learners to fill knowledge gaps, build confidence and achieve potential.
• Ensure safeguarding and child welfare protocols are followed during sessions.
