Job Description:

Prospero Teaching is looking for an Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people who are not attending school.

As an Outreach Tutor, you must be able to create, plan, and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels. This opportunity is ideal for experienced teachers seeking a more personalized and enjoyable teaching experience.

Many of these pupils will have been out of education for some time, so their confidence levels may be low. Your role is to reengage them in learning and help restore structure to their routines.

Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor each pupil's progress and support effective learning.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Various locations across Havering
• Position – Outreach Tutor

• Minimum pay rate – £25 per hour
• Hours – Sessions can be from 1 to 3 hours

REQUIREMENTS, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent, or tutoring and lesson planning experience
• 6+ months experience in a UK school preferred but not essential
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential)
