Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. in Hanley is seeking a 1:1 tutor to support students in Maths and English. You will plan and deliver tailored sessions, whether part-time or full-time, with flexible scheduling to fit school hours or after. Sessions occur at homes, libraries or schools.

The role requires teaching qualifications/experience, ability to follow the national curriculum, and DBS clearance (enhanced). Enthusiasm for helping young people is essential.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification/experience (classroom or 1:1).
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English lessons following national curriculum.
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs.
• Enhanced DBS (willing to apply).
• Passionate about working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Tutor 1:1 with students unable to attend school, supporting Maths and English.
• Plan, adapt and tailor sessions to meet individual learning needs.
• Sessions will take place in student homes, libraries or schools.
