Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency required.
• Experience working with children within the last 2 years.
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Experience with KS3 and KS4 is essential.
• Two references from working with children required.
• Current DBS registered with update service required.

Overview

Salary/ Rate: £75 per 2 hour session

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a 1-1 tutor to support students in KS3 and KS4 with core subjects. Students have an EHCP and currently do not access school. The 1-1 tutor role would involve around 3 sessions a week of tutoring and it is to take place in the library in the Chester area.

The ideal candidate for the 1-1 tutor role will have previous Teaching/Tutoring experience and will be confident undertaking work to the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.

Responsibilities / Overview

In order to be considered for this 1-1 tutor role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous KS3 and KS4 experience
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
