Job summary

Just Teachers Ltd is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil at a welcoming mainstream primary school in Boston. The role starts as soon as possible and is a long-term placement for the right candidate.

Applicants should have experience with challenging behaviour or additional needs, maintain calm and resilience, and hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour or additional needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient with strong behaviour management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, structured support throughout the school day.
• Implement strategies outlined in the pupil’s EHCP.
• Help the pupil remain engaged and access learning.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
