Job summary

Market Deeping Community Primary School is hiring a Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a pupil through Education Health Care Plans, in a friendly, supportive team. The role runs 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, term-time only (39 weeks/year).

The successful candidate should be creative, proactive and dependable, capable of working independently with individuals and supporting behaviour and learning needs in a primary school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with Education Health Care Plans (EHC).
• Able to meet Level 1 or 2 Teaching Assistant requirements.
• Term-time role with 39 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with an EHC plan.
• Support behaviour and learning needs as part of a team.

# 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Market Deeping Community Primary School## Job Introduction**1:1 Teaching Assistant Vacancy** The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with children. L.C.C Pay Scale – TA1 Grade 3 (pt 6-9) This is a temporary role connected with a pupil in Year 5 with an Education Health Care Plan working 32.5 hours a week. Hours will be from 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The contract will be for term time only ie 39 weeks per year.
