Job summary

Market Deeping Community Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a Year 5 pupil who has an Education Health Care Plan. The role is temporary, connected to the pupil's needs, and part of a broader classroom support duties across the day.

The position runs 32.5 hours per week, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only (39 weeks). The successful candidate will work creatively and independently within a supportive school team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work one-to-one with a Year 5 pupil with an EHCP.
• Support behaviour and learning needs as described in the EHCP.
• Assist with other children when required during the day.

The Headteacher and Governors wish toappoint a Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with children.

This is a temporary role connected with a pupil in Year 5 with anEducation Health Care Plan working 32.5 hours aweek. Hours will be from 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The contract willbe for term time only ie 39 weeks per year. The role will also involveworking with other children at times, not always specifically the 1:1 child.
