Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! An ambitious 1-1 Teaching Assistant is wanted for a Liverpool primary school in Everton. Roles are available as part-time, full-time, short-term and long-term with daily rate up to £100, starting ASAP.

You'll provide one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs, work under the teacher's direction and collaborate with the SENCO and support team to help progress individual education plans in a calm, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or similar needs.
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Previous experience in a school or child-centred setting.

Responsibilities

We are seeking passionate 1-1 Teaching Assistants for a Primary school in Everton, Liverpool. There are a range of part-time, full-time, short-term and long-term roles with a daily rate of up to £100 with roles starting ASAP.

Main Duties

• One-to-one support for a pupil additional needs
• Assist with a child in class under the direction of the teacher, working primarily in a one-to-one capacity to support with designated tasks in both class lessons and play, and outside of the classroom
• Under the direction of the class teacher support learning activities and work with the individual, assisting in the implementation, and monitoring of progress, of individual education programmes
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team
• Implementing consistent routines and tailored intervention plans
• Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Personal Qualities
