• Develop a nurturing relationship with the child to support learning and life skills.
• Engage, motivate and challenge the child to overcome barriers to learning and raise self-esteem and aspirations.
• Collaborate with teachers and other teaching assistants as a flexible, positive team member.
• Hours will be confirmed and adapt to the needs of the child and school.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have at least a Level 2 qualification in working with children in an educational setting.
• Experience as a teaching assistant in Key Stage 2 is helpful but not required if the candidate can develop a nurturing relationship and support the child effectively.
