1:1 Teaching Assistant - Secondary

Hours: Full-Time

Pay: £88.92 Per Day (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

Location: Corley Academy

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

The School and Role

Corley Academy is a vibrant specialist school that follows the national curriculum while supporting students with ASC, SEMH, and other communication and interaction needs. We are currently seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students in accessing their education in a structured, nurturing environment.

You will work closely with both teaching staff and therapists to provide tailored support that helps your student build academic confidence, social understanding, and emotional resilience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing 1:1 support tailored to an individual student's needs
• Assisting with behaviour regulation, engagement strategies, and life skills
• Working with a trauma-informed, person-centred approach
• Building consistent, trusting relationships to foster progress
• Supporting teaching and learning both inside and outside the classroom
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience supporting students with SEND, particularly ASC and SEMH
• A proactive, empathetic, and calm demeanour
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• A DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo a check
• Car access essential due to school location
